Papers were supplied by Memory Works Consultant Deborah Cariker for her design team kit.

These two pages are also from Deborah Cariker Memory Work kits. They will be used toward my friends Christmas Album surprise Gift.

All four pages counted toward my Personal Challenge. I'm really making some head way and getting through my mounds of photos by simply making a personal challenge like I did. Of course it helps to have a dedicated day each week for scrapbooking. However, I will not be able to attend for the next 3 weeks....Oh what will I do?

Pluggin away at the ol' Stash Bash Challenge

Photos of my 13 year old daughter when she was about 9 months old. The stack of photos from 1996 is getting slowly smaller. This page uses Random stamping on the background of the layout and then Rub on's for the lettering on the vellum. All products Close to My Heart.

These pictures are from 1997 and are of my Niece KayLeigh and her birth.
Again a demonstration on how to use Random Stamping as shown in the Tag photo frame.

Puppy Pages - 4 in all of our Baby. Most items were custom created by my friend Lelia Pierce. Others I compiled. All layouts were on the spot designed by myself based on what I had for the pages.

Coco is my son's dog. She is a special Hypo-Allergenic Dog due to his allergies he hasn't been able to have a pet other than a fish and a horrible experience with a Hermit Crab. We got Coco for him after searching for months for the right type of dog. He named her Coco Pretty and boy does she know who her boy is. shhh she is everyone in the family's 'Baby'

Another Stash Bash Series of Layouts

These two layouts begins a six layout series I did to commemorate our 2008 Christmas Family Project. Each year we decide on a "PROJECT" and this last year we baked our hearts out, Made gift baskets to all our special people (neighbor who always gives us great light shows on Halloween and Christmas etc.) The titles were done by Patti A from my Snag n' Piff group on Yahoo (ScrapbookPlace) All the elves, bowls, cookies etc. were done by Lelia P (a dear friend). The panels with stitching were piffed to me by Linda W.

I added puffy paint to the gingerbread guys and tree to give them some dimension. All six of the layouts are from Jeanette Lynton's layout books. I choose (3) 2 page layouts that worked well together. I then laid out all the paper I wanted to use and spec'ed out how it would all pull together.

Its a bit of a drive but I will be attending the Arlington, Texas event. Last year I was registered but couldn't attend due to an unplanned surgery. My dear friend went in my place. I'm so lucky to have her in my life...LOL (she better go with me this year)

I'm registered for a full day on Saturday [Saturday Shop-n-Crop Ticket Registration(General Admission ticket and All day Crop area ticket) Sat 6/6 9 am - 5 pm]

Scent My Cards

ok, I ordered two more scents. People who get my cards are gonna be angry I'm making them gain weight...lol.

I got Cake Batter and Cindy's Signature Scent. I will let you know my take on these two scents.

Convoluted Project

I titled this Convoluted Project because it is like a snow ball heading down hill. I signed up for this Coffee Card Swap nearly 6 months ago and in my fear that I will forget I keep double checking the calendar so I know when I need to get started on it. It is a card swap on the Cuttlebug Card Exchange Yahoo Group, so it has to have some kind of Cuttlebug'ease done to it.


Now I've been thinking about what I'd do for it and cut down a bunch of 5.5x4.25 panels and embossed them as you see here. Some are done in Chocolate and some in Vanilla Cream (both CTMH papers) I set them aside and decided to come back to it.


Time passed and then my new toy arrived (QuiKutz Silhouette) promptly named "My Big Baby" and I dinker'ed around with it for a week and found a hot coco cup complete with froth steam and a spoon. So it took me a few days to alter the cut to be as you see on the front of this card. It was a great opportunity to play with it and learn about altering pre-existing cuts.


Time passed and during that time I entered a blog candy opportunity to win some Card Scents from Scent My Cards. Lo' n' Behold I WON! - - I NEVER win anything. I decided to pick my favorite thing to smell which is Coffee. So this arrived yesterday and I have to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the roller ball applicator...what a brilliant move that was. The smell is to die for and should be called "for the LOVE of Java". This morning around 8am I rolled on the back of the coffee cups (between the layers) one swipe of my "Scent My Cards" (only did 3 cards so far and have 8 total I can make) at 7pm when my hubby came home he walked in and said "mmmm, did you brew a pot of coffee at this hour?"

So now I have a card to go for the swap, a card to send to Cindy at Scent My Cards as a Thank You for the opportunity to win this YUMMY addition, Cards to add to my Stash Bash Challenge and a GREAT Smelling Craft room!

So this is the first Version of this card. I have a total of 8 cards and I'm doing 2 of each Version. I will share them with you and I get them done. This is mounted on a white card base with a 1/4" white border left all around. Here it just blends into the background. I used the Cuttlebug Embossing folder for the background. The Coffee Mug was not altered at all and is a die cut from my "Big Baby" The inside of the Mug is adapted from the froth cut for inside the cup of hot coco. There are no changes in the steam other than I adhered it facing the right because to the left it looked like a ? mark to me. I found a Scalloped circle cut that had 4 nesting's and I simply sized this one to fit exactly behind the mug to better distinguish between the background and the inside of the mug (see I did these separate from each other so they I didn't have the for site to make them different colors)

They were done of a bunch of misc. bath photo's of my son when he was a wee one.

Now here are some of the yummy details of the pages

On both pages I used some Lustre Gems to simulate water drops. I adhered them using Liquid glass or Diamond Glaze. On these pages I used Stonewashed Lustre Gems.


Up until this point I used all older items I had already purchased. For this panel I did a search online for a poem about bathing babies and the water drop image. I then downloaded the image and pasted it on a word document in color and then placed the poem on top of it in full black. I then mirror printed it onto some Make Your Own Rub On Sheets that I got as an RAK from a Friend. This was so much fun to do.Fast and surprisingly Easy!

Working Full Time ~> Adding to the Challenge

Last Wednesday I switched to a Full Time Job and have been going through training for the new position. It sure has been adding a hitch to my keeping up with things around here. Even laundry seems to have taken a side street these days. Say a little prayer for me if you will to not only handle the change around here but also to make it in this position which is highly technical. YIKES!!!

Four Layouts From Stash Bash

These first two pages are identical to the ones I created for Quinn and just shared. Using the Imagine or Cherish layout books by Jeanette Lynton made it so easy to then turn around and at the same time create two additional pages that matched. So all told I made 6 pages using 2 different layouts from Imagine and cut them all out at the same time.

Nothing super special about these pages other than they are for my "Special Christmas Album" Project and the way I was able to utilize the Imagine and Cherish books to there fullest. They were a great purchase to my library, that I've used countless times. I think it's time to get the next one, Reflections.

My Sweet Boy Stash Bash Layouts

The title was done by Patti from her Wishblade off my Scrapbook Place piff site. The bottom border sticker is also something I got as a piff from that site. I think it was a ColorBok item.

These layouts are from the Imagine Book written by Jeanette Lynton Founder of CTMH. I love her layout books because they are so handy use for multiple layout matching and ease of cutting them out or even for altering to fit your specific needs.

Here is the title she made and I simply added it to a strip of cardstock with some CTMH Border stickers I hadn't used. I also added some Diamond Glaze to the letters.

This was from a Grab Bag I got off the Scrapbook Place. It is a Jolee 3-D Embellishment.

I'm a Quote fanatic so this is from my HUGE stash. With the Vellum quotes I usually adhere them using brads, eyelets, ribbon (glue under it then place ribbon over) or photo findings.

Quite a while ago I found all these plastic fiber slides in a variety of styles. There are always 6 in a pack along with fiber to match. This one was of course baby. I simply strung 3 of them onto the fiber and then wrapped that around a 2x2 square of cardstock from the layout. I faux stitched it with some scrapbooking fine point pens and wala I had a page element.

More Halloween Stash Bash Layouts

These pages I created with left over Halloween stuff for my "Special Christmas Album" project.

The October Title and photo matt on this first page was created by Lelia> I simply matted the title using some cardstock and left over stickers I found off the CTMH borders for this kit. I added liquid glass to the Happy Halloween sticker. The ghost & cat die cut paper pieces I got from my friend Deborah.

I can not remember who makes these but I snagged them from a Halloween Grab Bag pif from the scrapbook Place group. They are so fun they are shaker bubbles. The ghost, pumpkin and bat wiggle around.

On this second page the tag was also made by Lelia. I added a button to the whole in the tag and layered once more onto black.

These cute die cuts were done also by Deborah on her Cricut as well as the others.
