Design Team Layouts (More information to come)

Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash
These two layouts begins a six layout series I did to commemorate our 2008 Christmas Family Project. Each year we decide on a "PROJECT" and this last year we baked our hearts out, Made gift baskets to all our special people (neighbor who always gives us great light shows on Halloween and Christmas etc.) The titles were done by Patti A from my Snag n' Piff group on Yahoo (ScrapbookPlace) All the elves, bowls, cookies etc. were done by Lelia P (a dear friend). The panels with stitching were piffed to me by Linda W.

I added puffy paint to the gingerbread guys and tree to give them some dimension. All six of the layouts are from Jeanette Lynton's layout books. I choose (3) 2 page layouts that worked well together. I then laid out all the paper I wanted to use and spec'ed out how it would all pull together.Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash

On both pages I used some Lustre Gems to simulate water drops. I adhered them using Liquid glass or Diamond Glaze. On these pages I used Stonewashed Lustre Gems.
Up until this point I used all older items I had already purchased. For this panel I did a search online for a poem about bathing babies and the water drop image. I then downloaded the image and pasted it on a word document in color and then placed the poem on top of it in full black. I then mirror printed it onto some Make Your Own Rub On Sheets that I got as an RAK from a Friend. This was so much fun to do.Fast and surprisingly Easy!Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash
These first two pages are identical to the ones I created for Quinn and just shared. Using the Imagine or Cherish layout books by Jeanette Lynton made it so easy to then turn around and at the same time create two additional pages that matched. So all told I made 6 pages using 2 different layouts from Imagine and cut them all out at the same time.
Nothing super special about these pages other than they are for my "Special Christmas Album" Project and the way I was able to utilize the Imagine and Cherish books to there fullest. They were a great purchase to my library, that I've used countless times. I think it's time to get the next one, Reflections.Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash
The title was done by Patti from her Wishblade off my Scrapbook Place piff site. The bottom border sticker is also something I got as a piff from that site. I think it was a ColorBok item.
Here is the title she made and I simply added it to a strip of cardstock with some CTMH Border stickers I hadn't used. I also added some Diamond Glaze to the letters.
This is page two.

Quite a while ago I found all these plastic fiber slides in a variety of styles. There are always 6 in a pack along with fiber to match. This one was of course baby. I simply strung 3 of them onto the fiber and then wrapped that around a 2x2 square of cardstock from the layout. I faux stitched it with some scrapbooking fine point pens and wala I had a page element.Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash

These are Layout #'s 10, 11 & 12...oh my I better get moving if I'm going to keep up with this. I've currently finished layout#28...Yikes. These 3 pages are fun and were fairly easy as I used a Close to My Heart Level 1 Kit (Enchanted) but only used 3 of the 4 provided base pages.
My son, Quinn was so cute when we took this first page photo of him standing by the tree, and I do apologize about the lack of quality on the photograph of the page. My Scanner is down right now so scanning the pages is outta the question. Anyhow I had already received the paper pieced Pirate elements from a friend from Scrapbook Place. So when it came time to take his picture for Halloween he kept standing with his foot up like the Captain Morgan commercials and I asked him what he was doing and he said..."Mom, you need room to scrapbook the treasure chest under my foot." Future Tim Holtz I'm telling you what!!!
For the title I used some stickers I got quite a while ago at Joann's. The bats and spiders I got from my friend Deborah. She cut them out of her Cricut. I used a bunch of great Inchies I got from a swap I participated in on the Inchie Yahoo Group, Inchies-onexone.
The cute Which Paper Doll has been sitting in my bin since my 13 year old daughter was 2. I knew someday she'd end up dressing for Halloween as a witch. Little did I know that from age 10 she'd be a witch for every year there after. In the photo on this page she is the first girl on the left...no green make-up. She has a witch cape and had but took it off in the restaurant. She spent this Halloween out to a special dinner theater instead of trick or treating.

This title I got from a piff I snagged on the Scrapbook Place. To Jazz it up I simply added some Diamond Glaze to it.
This photo matt was from that same piff. Here I cut the faux ribbon to the right created a matching matt out of the blue Fiddlerz 3 paper tucking it under the cut faux ribbon. I again added some Diamond Glaze and then surrounded it with buttons etc.
On this shoreline portion of the layout I used a combination of buttons, Chipboard Die cuts, Die cuts with bubble sticker on them and these stone like embellishments I got from another snag on Scrapbook Place.

I had two totally different suns to use and I simply cut one out and layered it on top of the other. It turned out nice I think. I used a stitched panel I got from Linda Weber on Scrapbook Place here as well for the Fun in the Sun Vellum panel. The stitched ribbon was also a snag. Wahoo nearly a fully traded out 2 page layout. The only thing I used Cash to purchase was the Yellow CTMH paper I used for the back ground and even that is from like 2006 so totally a left over from another project item.

Here is the detail of the Photo Matt made by Lelia. I went in and added the sequin ribbon and button to the top and added some Diamond Glaze to the shamrocks. The second Photo Matt I created mimicking the original made by Lelia.Labels: Scrapbooking, Stash Bash
